PanOxyl Adapalene 0.1% Leave-On Gel, Retinoid Gel Acne Treatment, 0.5 oz

My daughter has been having this for over 6 months. I want to give some info about Adapolene that some may not know. When u begin using Adapolene it will make your skin purge for 1-2 months. Meaning u will get more breakouts because the Adapolene is bringing everything to the front so it can be chemically exfoliated off. After the purge_ u will begin to see that beautiful skin. Adapolene is not a spot treatment. It works by chemically exfoliating your skin on a daily. It prevents dirt, oil and other things from building up and causing blemishes. So if ur only using it as a spot treatment you're not keeping the rest of ur face from forming blemishes. I dab just a little on my daughter's forehead, nose and chin (she doesn't have any issues with her cheeks) and rub it in. A little really goes a long way. I would suggest putting a non-comedogenic moisturizer on before adding Adapolene. We use Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream dry to very dry skin. We wait 20 minutes after applying lotion before putting on the Adapolene. She also uses sulfur soap bar in the morning… Her skin is very clear and nice looking now.
