After using this tool I am convinced I will have to start changing out the rest of my nailers and staplers to cordless. This stapler is a bit heavy but the tool always being on my belt and cordless makes up for it. I haven't fired a ton of staples yet but so far it has been problem free. The depth adjustment and mode selector are simple and easy. I was really surprised with how long a battery lasts. The light is nice but I wish they had found a better location. I have been wood working for over twenty years, always fumbling around, tripping over or bumping something with an air hose. I am impressed with this cordless stapler. I was a little skeptical at first because of the weight but you get used to it. The extra weight certainty outweighs having to carry around a small compressor, hose, gas cartridge or oil to small jobs outside of the shop. No matter how clean you are, the oil container for an air tool always starts to leak. Its great to not have to worry about oiling the stapler or get oil on unfinished wood. The battery life is great, the LEDs are bright and there are plenty of adjustable features on the stapler to adjust to your project. I have used this with the included 2AH, 4AH and a 5AH battery. While the larger batteries add extra weight, the tool is still balanced well. If I were to request anything additional to the kit, I would prefer a hard case over the included soft case so it matches all of my other DeWalt air nailers!
