The microwave appears to be working fine. I was surprised that in spite of it's size it was relatively light weight to be able to pick up. I purchased this item because of it's brand name, Panasonic and also because it was on sale. I decided this time not to buy the cheapest microwave. The cheapest microwave doesn't work out too well in the long run.

This is our second one. The first one lasted about 2 years before the door switches failed. To repair would have cost more than a new one. These door latches seem flimsier than the first. We'll see. Overall it's been a good microwave and the best features are the sensor reheat and the quick minute.

Don't think "Inverter technology" is marketing hype. It DOES make a difference. This unit has that feature at a reasonable price. If you need a countertop unit, this is the best value on the market. Believe me, I searched. Walmart comes through again.
