Ask a doctor before use if you have: a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, glaucoma, difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers. When using this product: avoid alcoholic beverages. Stop use and ask a doctor if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 2 weeks. Insomnia may be a symptom of serious underlying medical illness. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

My husband is in his late 50s and I'm in my later 40s and this product works! My Mother In Love has us to try some because we were not getting the proper amount of sleep and sleep quality. You will fall asleep easy and will not feel drowsy the next morning. You definitely want to sleep for 8-10 hours. I have nothing but good things to say about this product. One plastic cupful (comes with Zzquil half an hour before going to bed assists me falling asleep Within a short time. When I don't take it because I run out, I lie awake for two hours or longer. I buy the 2 pack of vanilla cherry if I can find it. I also take the mixed berry. There is no residual effect the next morning.
