I've been using this for over a year now. i have a red earred slider in a 40 gallon tank and he is a nasty but lovable little creature. This material catches so much of the debris in his tank and keeps it in the material. This role lasts me a long time too. it is easy to cut to the size you need as well. it has really helped keep my tank cleaner.
