these were supposed to have "tummy control" and though they fit well in the thighs, the band around the belly was the loosest part. just didn't fit as I had expected. I should've got a smaller size ...but even then, they may not have had tummy control. if you don't purchase them for that reason, then they're a decent inexpensive pair of shorts
