Bought the slammer and haven't looked back. It's super smooth and sealed from top to bottom (don't have to worry about the salt water). Cast is pretty smooth and the handle if big enough to get a grip on, not like other reels that have a small handle you have to try and hold onto. Overall, very nice feel. Would recommend a hundred times over!
