Easy to ensemble however I did have some difficulty with the frame rods so I enlisted a neighbor to help me. Once it was completed I was pleased how strong and sturdy it is which makes it a bit heavy. The last carrier I ordered didn't have handles or straps so it was very awkward and difficult to carry with a 15 lb cat. I think it was intended to be a crate instead of a carrier. I will use my new one for the first time on Monday to take my cat to the vet. It will be an adventure, he hates car rides, but at least he will be in a strong and comfortable carrier. Oh, and the item was delivered a week earlier than scheduled!

I love this carrier. The only drawback is the weight but this is only because it is such a sturdy and solid item. There is no sag providing an interior well upholstery for your pet's comfort and solidity of the bottom causes much less anxiety. No issues on zippers and enough see through for good visual checks both ways. The value of this carrier for the cost was amazingly good.
