Ozark Trail Men's Black Hiking Boot

These boots are as close to a mid height trail runner as I could find. I have narrow feet and these fit me well. I used them on numerous day hikes before taking them out for 10 days and 124 miles on the Appalachian trail in MD and PA. The "boots" are more like trail runners and are pretty light weight. As a bonus, they are NOT waterproof and breath well and dry out quickly when wet. I did have one lacer loop tear on the AT but it was easily repaired with a sewing kit. I liked that the sole was firm and not overly soft like a running shoe. I was quite pleased and bought 2 more pair (for less than half the price of a "named" brand boot) for shelf stock. If you keep in mind these are lightweight boots, I suspect you will be happy with them as well.
