I like this spotlight because it has three setting of brightness and also a blinking setting that would be good if I needed help or wanted to alert someone. We needed something that could be used to see who or what is in the woods near our house. This meets all our needs. It uses batteries and is not rechargeable but I wanted one with batteries. We have a different one that is rechargeable.
