Just got back from my local pond and I can confirm, these are awesome lures. I bought one in every color and I'm glad I did! First of all, the hooks are super sharp so don't worry about that. Second, they cast just the same as other brands (you can cast these a mile), and lastly sound is a little more on the subtle side. Think of this as a finesse plopping bait in terms of noise. I highly recommend these for bass fishing!
