Spot Clean: Mix a couple cups of cool water with a teaspoon of dish soap. Next, dip a section of a clean, white fabric towel into the soapy mixture and wring out as much water as possible. Blot the stain with the white fabric towel and repeat as necessary until the spot is removed.
To expedite the flattening process, roll the rug in the opposite direction and massage visible creases with your hands.
