The instructions are very vague but you can figure out how to put it together by the pictures. I did have two extra cap like pieces left over that we still don't know what it goes to but overall it's sturdier than I expected and even has the adhesive clamps to hold it against the wall! I placed it in the bathroom over my toilet and it fit perfectly (Although I did have to put the bottom bar on last to have it behind the toilet to fit over the toilet and past the water supply)
