This thing is so cute. Honestly, I haven't tried it on yet, so I can't speak to how well it would work for hiking, etc. I plan on using it for Field Trips/events where I need to stay hydrated, but need the use of my hands. This prevents me from having to carry a large backpack. I plan on using one cup holder for water and the other for sunscreen. I'm a dork and my kids are embarrassed. Get you one!

Good pack. nit good bottles.
The pack is great. Well made with well thought out compartments that are useful. Perfect for food, snacks and drinks for a day hike. That said, the two drinking bottles that came with the waist pack are NOT good. the top does not lock in the open position. When I squeezed the bolltle to drink, water came out from around the nozzle. Only works if I suck on the nozzle and that would push the nozzle down to the close position. Do I had to unscrew the lid to drink from.
