Belkin Mini DisplayPort to HDTV Cable - video / audio cable kit - DisplayPort / HDMI

Bought this to replace my Moshi Mini Display to HDMI adapter which died after only a few months. Not only is this a much better deal with the HDMI cord included, it also feels better as the HDMI input has a "jacket" to secure it so there's no stress on the hdmi metal and the hdmi connection happens much further away from the mini Displayport end so there is more flexibility in the cable. It's also a lot less bulky than the Moshi was. It plays sound as well as audio on my 2010 macbook pro (remember to select it for Audio Output in your system preferences) and I haven't had any problems. It also has a limited lifetime warranty, whereas Moshi was only a year. I recommend this to anyone looking for this type of adapter. I don't know if it's thunderbolt compatible (capable of transferring at thunderbolt speed) , but Thunderbolt and Mini Displayport take the same physical input so the new macs should be backwards compatible, meaning you can connect to a non-thunderbolt HDTV via your thunderbolt port with this cable.
