Egg block disintegrated into mush
The noodles aren't bad, but the reason I purchased the ramen was to taste the sesame oil flavoring and the egg block. Unfortunately, the tiny sesame oil packet really didn't infuse the broth with much flavor, at all. The egg block didn't like anything like the package image. After only a few seconds, the solid, dehydrated egg block became mushy, like soggy tofu, and didn't impart the egg flavor I expected. I added my soft boiled egg to the ramen and it tasted more egg-like than that mass floating on top. One mix of the noodles and it totally disappeared, like foam, into the noodles and broth. I gave it a 3, solely because the noodles, but because of the lack of egg or sesame flavoring, it didn't get 5 stars.
