I purchased this APC gear after bad experiences with a competitor's (CyberPower) product and service, based on APC's reputation. So far, I'm quite pleased. I like this modular design with an external battery pack. When I plugged it in (without taking the UPS down or missing a beat) it just immediately showed about 3x battery capacity, and has been working fine.
