STANLEY 42-328M 48in I-Beam Level with Rotating Vial

I use levels a lot; from small torpedo style to 8 foot levels (a lot less often) but the level I pick up most often is a 4ft. This level has good features that make it a great choice for everyday use. It isn't expensive but it is metal; you can measure out of plumb with the rotating dial on one end, and there's a cut out to look down on the level when you're measuring whether a surface is level or not. The level is metal, the bubble gauges are replaceable. The rotating angle finder and graduated measuring lines make this a multi-tool and must have for framers, painters and construction workers. The rubber end caps are another feature that sets this level apart from others. It is bright yellow . In the process of demolition with debris, or on a construction site with building material everywhere this bright yellow bar sticks out. It's visible and easier to locate. It also keeps with Stanley tradition of Stanley yellow. Stanley needs to market a bright yellow case for this level, it would then be perfect. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
