Optimus Portable Oscillating Fan Heater with Thermostat

This is a great unit at a fantastic price. The real incentive for me to purchase (7 units so far) this item for the office spaces is the presence of a safety tip-over switch that will shut the unit off if it tips over (or is inadvertently kicked or vacuumed, etc.) which conforms with the office safety requirements. The device has a good base and is unlikely to tip over. The device will not work if this button at the bottom is removed! I haven't found other small personal heaters in this price range to have this feature. The optional oscillating feature is also nice. This device is used as an under-desk warmer for chilly office spaces. We did not buy it intending for it to heat an entire room. The unit is quiet (while not silent, it doesn't rattle - the only sound is air blowing) and has lo, high and fan setting and a heat setting dial from lo to high heat. The fan setting is nice if you need to get some air circulating and works like a fan. Requires a 3 prong outlet.

This little gem works great. We use it in the living room, bathroom, kitchen, or anywhere we need to take the chill out of the air. It covers a larger than expected area very efficiently. We like it so well, we bought 2. :)
