    GREAT PERFORMING ANTENNA

The ClearStream HDTV antenna, surprisingly, works well even in urban areas I live in downtown Silver Spring, MD where I am obstructed by tall buildings. Yet, I am able to capture more than 30 channels when I scan, aiming my antenna directly at the TV transmission towers in my area. These channels include station such as NBC, FOX, CBS and ABC. In addition, I get excellent pictures from all of the nonprofit channels like PBS. I have experience with other indoor TV antennas, and I am connivance that the ClearStream HDTV antenna—for the price—is the best on the market. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I live 40 to 42 miles from the broadcast towers located in Cedar Hill, TX. I have been using set top antennas for about a year with moderate success but I have never been able to pick up the ABC station in my area which is the only station that broadcasts over VHF. After setting up the antenna with a Weingard pre amplifier, all of the stations came in clearly but I was still having problems picking up the VHF station. So it occurred to me that the ClearStream 2 is small enough that I could use it in an unconventional way. I bought a wooden crate at the local big box store, turned it on it's end and mounted the ClearStream 2 to the end of the crate. This gave me 18" more height and it allowed me to move the antenna around my attic until I found a sweet spot - essentially using the ClearStream 2 as a giant set top antenna. Bingo! Now ALL stations come in clearly and I have broadcast TV in three rooms in my house. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Works Great!

This antenna replaced satellite service and it works great. We still get more channels than we can watch. For the cost of one month on Direct TV we can watch for free. I installed it myself. We receive channels from two areas in opposite directions. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
