As a formerly homeless, recently rehoused senior currently without a car nor an income and with two dogs to feed, both rescues from neglected origins, being able to marshal the necessary resources to best meet their needs were paramount factors in my decision to purchase this item, in this way, in this size and at this price point. My Cane Corso mix is not quite a year old and technically still a puppy. She has food insecurities and is voracious, still growing, and will wolf down anything put before her. And my Italian Greyhound mix, all of twenty pounds soaking wet, is a spoiled little princess, who, I was told, was weaned on table scraps and fast food and is extremely picky as to what constitutes acceptable cuisine especially, oddly enough, when it comes to anything designated as a premium dog food. She prefers the cheap stuff! So it had to be cheap, plentifull and delivered. And Walmart (and Lenin, the delivery driver, well done sir!) came through in spades!

Mr. Sam knew what to include in Ol Roy's food to keep him healthy! Since the mid 80s I have fed my two ranch dogs (a Lab and mid sized companion) Ol Roy Dry! Even Kya, that would challenge rattle snakes (bit four times) lived to be 13 (not to say Ol Roy is an antidote!)Today, my best bud, Barker (a 15 yr old Catahoula Beagle mix)is still healthy! Copper (English "Lion Head" Lab and Jake a Corgi Healer mix (picture long legged Corgi (that is determined that no lizards will grow into dragons doesn't catch just chases)! ALL thrive on Ol Roy augmented by an Ol Roy biscuit (clean healthy teeth)! This my dog loving friends is my Ol Roy story and I'm stickin to it! God Bless our Man's %26 Women's best friends! P.S. My dog likes this dog food. I've tried to buy him other brands that have claims of being healthier but he prefers this one. Dog is 13 and still acts like puppy. Most people believe he is a puppy except for his graying face. I like the variety of options of flavors and of course the price is great. I do miss when it was a little cheaper but comparable to all the other brands that have also increased in price
