The Original and my Favorite of all Pi Cases

The Pi 3 official case will hold the official Pi POE HAT.Most third party cases will not.It assembles/disassembles easily without tools or screws, and is sturdy.The curved top is very practical, which allows it to be more securely attached to the back of a monitor or TV with just a couple of zip-ties. I tried many other cases before this one, assuming that because they were aftermarket they were better.But it turns out that the original is the best IMHO.Note, this case will NOT fit the new POE+ HAT, but that is due to a design flaw in the HAT.

sturdy, easy to assemble

Cheap, sturdy, easy to assemble. I like that it comes apart into 5 different pieces; it makes assembling the board and rearranging wires very easy. I used this to make a RetroPie system, and this case is so little, I can tuck it behind my TV and you don't even know it's there.

Nice Feel, Design, and its actually real...

It makes the rpi look sleek and cool while at the same time keeping it protected. Best of all, it is a legit RPi case-not a Chinese knockoff like the sd card I bought: Raspberry Pi 16GB Preloaded (NOOBS) SD Card ... When shopping anything for the RPi, be very cautious about kits, "official" cases, and sd cards. They all have the incredible potential to be fakes. The grey-black case hasn't been targeted yet (as far as I know), but the red-white one has. Anyway, all of the components fit together nicely and there is ample room in it for hardware add-ons. The removable side panels are nice for when you want to access the GPiO pins (I haven't gotten to do that yet sadly, but I plan on doing so once I actually can get a working sd card). Also the design still allows the pi to be pocket friendly-better than an otterbox on an iPhone.
