This is my third defender case. They've protected my last two iPhones and now my 17 pro max. They've taken many hard falls, in and out of the house. Not a crack or scratch. The only thing I wish they'd add is a sliding screen for the back camera. This addition would make this case perfect. I don't know how that keeps being overlooked.

Have been using otterbox defender cases for the last 15 years on phones and tablets. They are the toughest cases and I have never had a device damaged. My only complaint on the 16 pro case is the camera button hole. Why?!? It is the most annoying thing ever. Why leave it exposed? It bothers me enough that I really want to change cases, but I am afraid my phone won't be protected with something else. It gets touched unintentionally ALL the time. It is awkward to hold and just all together a terrible design. If there was a different option that was the same durability I WOULD DEFINITELY CHANGE.

Not as good as the older model

Ive had the same case with my old phone for a long time and I love it, it has protected my phone every time it fell on on the floor! So I ordered this one for my new iPhone 17, but it's a lot thinner than my other one and doesn't feel as safe! For the price I expected a more substantial case, so I hope that it will still protect my new phone even though it feels very skimpy
