Allergens

It's not what it used to be. They changed the packaging and a lot of other things, and now the ingredients list says it may be produced in a facility with tree nuts. I'm allergic to tree nuts, so I avoid anything with that warning because I've had reactions before. But now so many companies put that statement on their products, even when nuts aren't in the ingredients at all. Can we normalize asking companies not to use or keep those allergens around if they're not actually in the product, so people with allergies don't have to worry unnecessarily?
