- Always Pure & Raw Farmers in Montana plant sweet clover to feed livestock and to naturally enrich the soil in their fields. When the plants bloom, between May and September, our hives are surrounded by a sea of fragrant yellow flowers, stretching out under those big Montana skies as far as the eye can see. The bees bumble and buzz from flower to flower, gathering the nectar they use to create our Montana Sweet Clover honey. While they may sip from a wildflower or two along the way, this is as close to "single source" as honey gets. The result is a pale amber color and delicate, lightly floral flavor, with delicious notes of shortbread and a pronounced, luscious sweetness. This classic honey is perfect for stirring into tea, spreading on toast or making a peanut butter and banana sandwich. It also works beautifully in salad dressings, over grilled peaches and in champagne cocktails.
- Crystallization Pure, unfiltered honey that sits for a while on the shelf will sometimes begin to form crystals. Never fear. There's nothing wrong with it – crystallization of sugars is a natural occurrence. Just place the unopened jar, upright, in a bowl or pan of hot water, to warm the honey and make it liquid again. Don't boil the jar—and never nuke your honey! Gentle warming will melt the crystals without destroying the antioxidants, amino acids, enzymes, and other beneficial nutritional components.
- PEANUT BUTTER & HONEY SANDWICH Peanut butter, honey & banana sandwiches are an absolute favorite here at Chico Honey Co. Once you try this flavor combination, you’ll be hooked! Ingredients: Bananas, sliced (a little bit ripe!) Rustic bread, two slices All-natural peanut or almond butter Montana Sweet Clover Honey Spread the peanut or almond butter on the bread, top with a few slices of banana and then drizzle with our Montana Sweet Clover Honey. The best honey ever!
This is the best honey that I've ever tasted. I always buy organic and raw honey, but none of them tasted like this one. It even smells great, so fresh . So, I highly recommend it. I am definitely ordering more of this delicious honey. The jar is glass which is a huge plus also.

All the Chico honey flavors are great, but this is my fav. Came crystallized and I happen to love that, too. Plus it’s in a glass jar.
