I use it for focus, energy %26 mental alertness. I take it after a small amount of breakfast food if digestive issues. Best NOT to take near a high protein meal, as it competes with high protein.....but 1 egg would be fine. Can take another 500 mg around noon, but it may interfere with your sleep %26 keep you awake. Best not to take more than 1,000 mg max per day.
