I bought this item as party favors for children, and I was very impressed. The colors are striking, bright neons. It's made of plastic, but the top has a finish similar to nitrile gloves, so it's very soft and attractive. It keeps its shape without being completely brittle or rigid; even when the crown was squeezed a little, it bounced right back without crinkling or having an unattractive stress mark. (It's still plastic and will be damaged if bent too far, especially the brim and crease.) The black band was a sticker and very cute. They arrived unbent and unbroken. The hats are the right size for children under ten, but won't fit most adults. They also lasted the entire party and perhaps will for even longer if handled with care. After I bought this product, I was offered a small incentive to leave a review. I didn't receive this item in exchange for a review, and my response is honest. These really are cute hats, and I would buy them again.
