The overall effect is lively and magnetic. This hand-woven area rug is crafted with premium wool and soft, lustrous Rayon which is derived from bamboo fibers. The result is velvety soft and subtly iridescent. Crafted in India.
The silky fiber of bamboo silk has a natural sheen and softness that feels and drapes like silk, but is more durable and easier to clean. Because bamboo is a fast growing grass that doesn't require re-planting, it is one of the world's most sustainable resources. In fact, bamboo plantations reduce greenhouse gases. Bamboo fibers are made by crushing the plant and using natural enzymes to create raw materials that are spun into fibers, or may be made using the latest chemical technology
