I was wowed by this carpet, and for $40? Amazing! It feels smooth underfoot, and it's easy to vacuum. The pattern adds visual interest without being busy, and hides stains beautifully. I knocked over a full glass of red wine the first night (so very me!) which I cleaned as best I could with lots of water and soap. It dried quickly and by morning the stain had disappeared. That's miracle fabric right there. I haven't tried to put it in a washing machine yet, so no idea how well that works, but since it vacuums and spot cleans so well, I don't see needing that very often.
