Plush and thicker than expected.
Beautiful design with mythical birds on the corners. Made of wool and nylon, the rug is soft, with good pile height. It is a beautiful rug, but the price tag can be hard to overcome, especially since my previous purchases for something of this price are usually hand-made (this is machine made). I knocked off one star because I expected more of burgundy tones, but this came looking more orange than red. I may have gone for the blue option had I known, but overall, I'm still quite happy with my purchase.
