Hopefully it was meet the need.

I have not been able to set the bed up yet. The delivery was fast and good.

would not recommend

Poor craftsmanship. The bed was delivered with broken/split wood rails for the main bed and broken casters for the bottom trundle. The wood is old and brittle not stained completely. It appears all the unseen pieces are just thrown together. The headboard and the footboard are the most attractive pieces of this bed. I am presently waiting for the replacement parts. We shall see when and what arrives. I chose to keep the bed as I am currently now down one bedroom and really cannot go searching for a replacement. That being said I must comment on the customer service, they truly have been very pleasant and helpful.
