LOVE IT!! Am decorating a 3 1/2' Christmas tree with a base of a compressed straw circle with 8 wooden dowels hot glued around and into the compressed straw. The the dowels are pulled together at the top and hot glued to form a "tee pee" shape. I glue a string of lights around the dowels from top to bottom and then I hot glue the white garland around the dowels to form a white Christmas tree. I simply decorate with small ornaments. It's really lovely. After "little" Christmas, I covered the decorated tree with a large plastic garbage bag and store it in a closet until the next holiday season.
