Chapaghetti is great, but the instructions are totally wrong. I boil about 2 cups of water (enough to cover the noodles) along with the dry packet. Once 3-4 minutes pass depending on how you like it, I drain all of the water except maybe a tbsp or 2 and add the seasoning packet and then stir. It's really good.

I'm a big fan of ramen and was super surprised to see this huge pack of Chapaghetti offered on Walmart.com! It's very hard to find. I usually have to travel an hour to get to the nearest Asian grocery store, and Amazon is super overpriced when it comes to Chapaghetti. (pack of 8 for $23?!) Thank you Walmart, for not overcharging us!! This item is kind of different from regular ramen because it's not soupy or spicy... it reminds me of a slightly sweet gravy sauce? It's prepared differently; you have to semi-drain the noodles and then mix in the granuals (they look like instant coffee) with the oil-I feel weird using the oil in the packet and just drizzle my own evoo in there... I've tried using sesame oil when I'm feeling extra or a drop of sriracha to spice it up. Also, if you're a fan of the movie Parasite, they referred to something called Ram-don in the subtitles or Chapaguri if you listen carefully. You make it by mixing this with Neoguri ramen (I never had it but I compare it to how I like to channel my inner Sandra Lee and Semi-homemake spaghetti by mixing my Prego red sauce with Ragu Alfredo white sauce. )

Don't follow the directions.

Okay.....so the first bag I had, I followed the directions. It was awful. No flavor.... I then reached out to a Korean friend who had suggested these noodles to me. She was confused by the directions and said, "Asians don't make them that way!?" She told me to boil the noodles and veggie pack. DRAIN all of the water. Then add the oil pack and the seasoning/soup base. ----now I love them, but I don't understand why the directions are the way they are??
