This has been my Noka favorite for the past few months, but I'm branching out to new flavors
This has been my favorite Noka pouch for a while, but it is more acidic than the other flavors (thanks to the pineapple I'm sure, plus the lemon juice concentrate). I would not say it's excessively tart, but if you are sensitive to acidic foods it could upset your stomach. I wish there were more of a strawberry flavor. Lately it has tasted to me like it's mostly banana with protein powder mixed in. Still nutritionally valuable for the omega 3s and an easy and tasty way to get 5 mg of protein, but my current favorite is the mango coconut formula, as in that one the mango flavor pops and the coconut flavor is delicious, prominent but not overpowering (unless you don't like coconut meat, in which case you should give it a pass because there are little bits of actual coconut in the puree. Anyway, if you love strawberry pineapple this is a good option, and I'm sure I will be back for more once I've gotten my fill of the mango coconut formula. I've also recently tried the blackberry vanilla pouches and the vanilla flavor is yummy, but the blackberry flavor like all the berry flavors in the Noka line is very subtle. It would be great if there were a bit more blackberry in the blend, just as it would be great if there were more strawberry in this flavor that I'm reviewing. I give 5 stars because I love these even with the caveats I've listed and I think they are worth the high cost if you can afford it for the quality of the nutrition they pack.
NOKA Smoothies are the best!
I have been purchasing Noka Superfood Smoothies for a year now, and I have been very pleased with the product. The Strawberry/Pineapple blend is a favorite. There is exactly the right amount of smoothie in each packet.
A bit expensive, BUT…
The price is a bit high, but the pouches taste great and there's a lot of flavors to choose from! The size is just right, package is secure and looks good, great as a snack to eat when busy.
