True to size and fits great. My daughter is very picky about clothing. She is more specifically picky about texture, and tags, and if something is too tight. She said this fit her perfectly. She was very happy to wear it and it was very comfortable for her. She said that it wasn't uncomfortable in any way. She didn't even feel it. Also there's no tags which is great because every time she gets something she cuts them off. The colors are pretty, but I think that she was confused as it does look like a bathing suit top. It also has the texture of a bathing suit top. There is slight padding but nothing that makes it looks like it's too much. The only thing that is not great about this is that the color is very vibrant and can be seen underneath a shirt. But that isn't a huge concern. I would definitely recommend and so would my daughter.
