I'm usually a size 4 or 6 in most brands, and the Small fit just as expected—slightly oversized in a flattering way. The pleating in the front wasn't too tight at all, so no pulling or awkward bunching. I did find them a little shorter than I expected for a 31” inseam (though I didn't measure to confirm). I'm 5'8”, and they hit at a ok spot on me, but if I were any taller, I probably wouldn't love the length.
