Easy Install Process
The Nighthawk app made the setup of this router so easy. I'm an older adult and I was nervous about the process of installing the router but the app made it seamless. Of course, I still had to connect my computer and printer to the new network/router but because the router setup was complete, those connections were simple. This is my second Netgear router and I recommend them.

Nighthawk WiFi 7 RS500 Router
I just setup the Nighthawk WiFi 7 RS500 Router replacing my older R7960P - Nighthawk X6S AC3600 Tri-Band WiFi Router after being notified that firmware service updates for it had ended. My older router was working just fine but I replaced it so I can maintain the latest firmware updates. The Nighthawk App setup program walked me through the process, and made it very easy to setup the new router. Can't say anything about the performance and longevity just yet as I just set it up, but based upon my older router, I am hopeful it will provide the same level of service I enjoyed with the old router.

Build quality on this new model appear good- I enjoy the simple shape- and that it takes less space- and install was easy. I hope it lasts as long as the old one!
