In a nutshell, it is SUPER cute but not cartoon-y. It definitely brightened our bathroom in a jiffy. As always, this stuff is easy to put up...BUT the repeat in the pattern is pretty big. Every time I started a new strip, I lost about 18 inches just matching up the design (and you REALLY don't want to see the chaos if you DON'T match up). That is the only reason it got 4 out of 5 stars. Just keep the paper waste in mind, and order one more roll than you think you need. Only really a problem if you are on a limited budget, as this is about $36 per roll. Thank you, Joe Biden, for the stimulus check! LOL I would totally recommend this though.... Oh yeah, it's also stark white, so there is a real good chance it will make every other formerly white thing around it need an immediate paint job. just sayin. : )
