Nexen Winguard Sport 2 Winter 215/55R18 99V XL Passenger Tire

First off, I'm a tire snob. I'm very particular about noise and vibration. These surpass my expectations for winter tires. I have a Chrysler 300C Hemi with rear wheel drive, 20" wheels. In the past I've had to park the vehicle anytime it snows due to the rear wheel drive and big Hemi V8 torque,,,,the car was just unmanageable in anything over 2 inches of snow. I installed these hoping for SOME traction and boy do these deliver. Got to try them in a 6-8 inch storm and I was very confident. These stop great and wet hydroplaning in minimal, dry road performance is also impressive. I drive interstate 95-100 mph when conditions allow and they are steady and VERY SMOOTH! They balanced great. I have about 3000 miles on them, tread wear is in non existent on the fronts, the rears are showing very slight wear but is to be expected with over 400ftlb of torque. As far as noise and ride comfort.....I lost about 2 mpg (fully expected this, they are winter tires) so I bumped up the pressure a bit and the ride compliance is still good. Noise is variable depending on road surface but they are acceptable and actually very quiet at highway speeds. They are actually noisier around town. If you do not require a studded tire I HIGHLY recommend. These have better uniformity than most tires costing a lot more. I WILL be purchasing Nexen's for my truck this summer. I LOVE them. F10 550i xDrive Owner here. The Nexens are a really solid choice in the winter. It's almost impossible to get stuck with these things & they're more a more comfortable ride than the Blizzaks. Tread noise is a little more quiet than other brands I've tried in the past. Definitely can't go wrong if you get these!
