replace damaged tire

This replaces a fairly new tire with a nail in the sidewall, unrepairable. They checked the existing tire tread depth first and found it acceptable, you usually don't replace only one tire in a set. The tire was shipped to the store and available at my appointment time. After mounting, they balanced and rotated the set of tires. It took longer for some reason, even though I was next in line at my appointment time. I also purchase the road hazard warranty with every tire. But this tire was out of date because I swap winter and summer tires every year, there are fewer miles of wear over the years. I also have the tire pressure inserts that they kept in place.

Installed these tires two days before a massive blizzard hit the central part of the state on November 28th, 2016. These tires ride good, are not noisy, and have excellent grip. Installed them on a 2000 Dodge Durango that has 4 wheel drive. My daughter is now using this vehicle so that she can get around town and to work.

The Nexen Roadian AT tires I bought for my 2014 F-150 4x4 fill the bill nicely. Good agressive tread for year around traction,, good mileage warranty and all at a fair price. Walmart even offered lifetime flat repair, rotation, and balance. Hard to beat at any price.
