I have terrible ankles and small achilles I work full time standing on my feet on concrete floors all day 5 days a week. I have tried on clouds and many other "famous" shoes that cost way more then these, and none of them are as good as these new balance! I wasn't so sure at first with the thick sole look to them but I get so many compliments on them and my feet don't hurt as bad once I get off work! They saved me while at work. Definitely give them a shot.
