We are very happy with our NESCO vacuum seal. You have three options with this machine, Seal Only, Vacuum Seal, and Canister Seal. Well, actually four options, you can also choose Normal Seal Time or Extended Seal Time. But one must also take in consideration we have only used this for three weeks. But during that period we have vacuum sealed a lot of bags and wide mouth Ball jars with no issues. The vacuum hose for sealing jars does not come with it.
