Delta 1500 to 1700 conversion kit

Great product. Replaced an old Delta 1500 to this 1700. The valves are the same between the two models. Girly easy switch. Cleaned off the calcium build up and switched out this 1700 without issues. Took me time to get the right hot/cold water mix I wanted. No leaks and likes better than original. The price was around $100 so not a bad deal at all. Don't need fancy tools for the job.

Absolutely terrible instructions.

I have Delta products throughout my home. I have taken them apart to replace seals without too many problems. Delta discontinued the 1500 series bath faucet, why I have no idea. I purchased the 1500 to 1700 series conversion. The instructions are vague and incomplete, like “use the longer screw”. I've yet to see the 2 extra parts in the instructions but I'm on my 4th time reading.
