Epson SureColor P800 - large-format printer - color - ink-jet

Excellent. My Stylus 2200, which I used for over a decade, was starting to wear out. I was leery of buying a new printer. But the P800 is simply excellent. Set up was a breeze. Up and running in about as much time as it takes to open the box and pull out the cords, remove the tape and set up the connection. I haven't tweaked my screen to color yet because the printer has done such a good job already. I work in batches, sometime going a week or two without printing. I had read some comments about the ink not working if you didn't use it every day. I don't know what those folks are talking about. P800 has become my workhorse and I really like it. Ink cartridges are much more expensive but they seem to last quite a long time. I do a lot of fine art printing. I highly recommend this printer.

This machine is a replacement for and Epson 3800 due to random ink discharge . In many ways the two printers are very similar. This made the change over very easy. I have no technical proof but in my opinion the P800 is superior in matching colour from the screen and clarity of the image. Both machines have the advantage of taking up to 17x22 paper size which for me is a definite advantage.
