Neo G Opti-Heal Silicone Foam Absorbent Dressing, 4 Sterile Dressings 4x4 Inch FSA/HSA Eligible

Unlike every other review on this page, I actually bought and paid for this product, twice! I have a wound on the back of my right leg, just below my calf. I purchased this product because there is overwhelming evidence to support the benefits of moist wound healing, and silicone works great in this environment. I was impressed with the amount of exudant this product absorbs. I originally purchased the silicone foam version because it was listed for heavy drainage and it worked as advertised. The second box I bought was the gel version because the foam variant was out of stock. The gel is only listed as light drainage, but it work just fine on my wound that was still draining moderately. The product is in fact showerproof and adheres to the skin very well but is still nearly pain free to remove. They advertise it as being “repositional” but I had no luck with that as the film that adheres to the skin is VERY thin and flexible and folds over on itself. The benefit of this is that is stretches and conforms to irregular shaped body parts like my calf.
