I've had back problems since I injured it at age 15. I've had 5 back surgeries and numerous other procedures since age 41. I've lost strength in most every part of my body, so standing for an extended length of time in the tub/shower, especially with fairly slick footing, has become more and more dangerous. I've actually fallen out of the tub/shower on several occasions. This chair is a tremendous help with allowing me to rest while washing my body. I can sit when I feel unstable or unsafe. This is particularly helpful when washing and rinsing my hair, as well as the rest of my body. The chair is very sturdy and large enough for my 6'3" height and 275lbs. This is a great product!

Great smaller shower chair! Very sturdy!!

Very nice shower chair! It isn't too big. Fits perfectly in an average or smaller sized tub (it isn't very wide). It is sturdy, but shockingly - it can hold me at 220 lbs. I don't have to worry about the shower chair falling over! :) It's very cheap compared to many other shower chairs! I'm glad I decided to buy the shower chair! It isn't a purchase I have regretted!

It was easy for this 70-year-old lady to put it together. I hurt my foot so this was great for my little narrow bathtub. I felt like a queen in there with shades of Flashdance. Lightweight and very sturdy. Excellent value for the money. I'm 5 foot two and I weigh 145 pounds. The chair fit me perfect. If you're a bigger person, you might want a bigger chair. But then again, you can always return it if the seat is too small for you.
