Similac Sensitive Powder Baby Formula, 22.5-oz Tub

This is my first year as a Grandfather and my Daughter was having problems feeding our grandson. His first two weeks of life were fine and he was drinking around 2 oz of formula (normal, not sensitive) every two hours when he was awake. Around his 4th week, he was not finishing his bottle and began crying and rejecting his bottle. The Pediatrician advised my Daughter to try out Similac Sensitive Infant Formula. She took his advice and the results were immediately good! My grandson could finish a 4 oz bottle and wasn't in distress anymore. Our Daughter loves the Similac Sensitive formula and easily mixes it with infant water for his bottles. We used this 1.41 lb dry formula and it mixes quickly, stays soluble after preparing so you can put several prepared bottles in the fridge. Must use up prepared bottles in 24 hours or less. Container snaps shut nicely and has a scoop in the lid for convenience. Shelf life is over a year... until opened... after opening, must use contents within a month. We all agree that this is a good size/volume for remaining within the "use-by" limits. Unopened, you can store it for over a year... the one I received has a expiration date stamped on the bottom: Use By 1 MAR 2017 Given that this is for infant to 12 month old babies, the use by date is more than adequate. Would I recommend it? YES.... it's a little high in price, but considering the "happy baby" results, pretty much priceless! Have a Fussy Baby? Ask your Dr., this may just be the ticket!
