Bless its heart ( does pasta have a heart?)
Pasta is always a great thing to eat, if you cook i t correctly. Over done pasta is not all that yummy, there needs to be a bit of a bite to it, a soft chew but not mushy. This pasta holds up well if overcooked. How do I know? Experiance !! Talking with my mom on the phone my timer goes off while cooking this pasta brand and I let my mom know my pasta is done, I do a taste test on it, rinsing a few pieces under cold water to sample, making sure it is the correct bite and its done. PERFECT... right? Nope I need to hands and I have mom on speaker phone already, I let mom know again, I need to go, as the pasta is ready. SHe keeps talking, I give up, 3 minutes later mom is done talking and we hang up. WHy didn't I just rinse my pasta 3 mins earlier? I am older and weak and need to watch my footing in the kitchen, I let the pasta sit, UGH, ok, a bit over done but still eidible, I drain the pasta and to my surprise, it really did not over cook, I got lucky and my pasta was great at dinnertime. Not that it self stopped cooking but it gave me 3 minutes to finish it even though it was too long. I like this brand. I like it alot ,
