Works great for bolts and studs
This set includes five extractors, each is a different size. #1, #2, #3, #4 and #5. They are threaded and made from steel for durability. This extractor set seems well made and long-lasting. My husband is a mechanic and this extractor set does a great job with removing studs and manifold bolts that are broken on vehicles easily. It grabs on to bolts and studs really easy. He hasn't used it with stripped screws yet, but since it does such a good job with the bolts and studs, stripped screws should be no issue for it. However, he doesn't think it would work very well for shallow stripped screws. This set can be used with a power drill, but my husband prefers to use pliers so he can control the speed better. The pliers can grab on to the extractors easily. The protective storage case this set comes with is compact and made well with a sliding latch. It is great for keeping the set together while making it easy to bring with you. This set also came with easy to follow instructions on how to use the extractors and a chart to show beginners what extractor size they need to use.

Great to keep in your toolbox
I love this extractor set! It easy to use, and comes in handy when doing a little diy. Just find the correct size bit, punch a hole in the middle of the stripped screw, drill small hole, tap extractor firmly into the hole, then slowly turn counter clockwise until the threads engage, and then slowly remove the screw! It worked like a charm the two times I have needed it so far! Definitely a kit worth having around!

Excellent
These couldn't have come at a better time! Some wind blew over a portion of my fence and we needed to remove and replace the posts and some of the pickets. The fence is 10 years old, so there were some screws there that we couldn't get out. These extractors performed very well! It made the job less time consuming and cheaper for sure because I was almost ready to give up and just replace it all. These fit great into my power drill and they're easy to use. I also like that the case is easy to open and close. It has a sliding latch on the side. I'd highly recommend.
