I use this sweetener in everything. I also use it in baking. I contacted the company about the source of the xylitol, and they told me it was from non-GMO corn cobs. They also test the xylitol to make sure that it is non-GMO. I used it to make Dr. Andrew Weil's Banana Nut Bread. Instead of the canola oil, (canola is GMO or a genetically modified organism), I used organic applesauce. Instead of the half cup of honey, I used 1Tb of honey and 6 packets of Xylitol Plus. Instead of transfat laden and GMO containing flavored coffee creamers, I use Xylitol Plus and vanilla extract in my coffee. It's better than those artificially flavored coffee creamers. At Whole Foods Market, they are selling this product for almost $9. Can you say whole paycheck? It's also more expensive on amazon. I've been using this product for many years. Xylitol on its own is not sweet enough, and stevia has an overpowering taste. This combination is perfect. Thankfully it's GMO-free. Also, studies have shown that xylitol supports gum health, & I believe this to be true. I am a nutritionist (and an anti-GMO activist) & I often recommend this product.
